How to find us

Directions from the North and South

Leave the M6 at Junction 36, and follow directions for Barrow, going along the A591 until you come to the Sedgewick roundabout, then take the A590 until you come to the Meathop roundabout.  Then turn off along the B  to Grange over Sands.  Go straight through Lindale, Grange and Allithwaite to Flookburgh.

Flookburgh is situated about 2 miles south of Cartmel on the Cartmel Peninsula.

It can also be approached by turning off the A590 at Haverthwaite, and going through Holker and Cark.

For those coming by train, the cottage is only a short walk from Cark Station.  From the station turn left and walk into Flookburgh Village.  In the centre of the village turn right onto Main Street.  Longwell Cottage is 50 metres down on the left.
